Our first day in Russia involved
a trip through customs, a new stamp in our passports and a band performing
on the docks. From here we met up with our tour guide Kate and driver
Yuri, who would navigate us through the busy St. Petersburg. The day
started with a drive outside the city to a very crowded Catherine Palace
before returning to the city for lunch. After lunch and a visit to a
gift shop we toured the even more crowded Winter Palace and Hermitage.
Our last stop before returning to the ship for the day was The Church
on Split Blood. |
